S-Motion Full-Motion Video Board is a single-slot S-Bus board whichdisplays full-motion video in a window on the SparcStation monitor. Theboard can accept three independent video inputs-two composite videoinputs and one S-Video input. Video inputs are switched via software.Live video is displayed in real time at the full frame-rate (30frames/sec. for NTSC or 25 frames/sec for PAL). The full-motion videowindow can be cropped and re-sized, and displays 24-bit color (16 millioncolors). In addition, the S-Motion board captures images in a variety offile formats, including TIFF and SunRaster. The S-Motion board works inconjunction with the SparcStation graphics frame buffer or accelerator,thereby preserving the workstations existing graphics performance whileadding full-motion video window capability.
